RETAIL SALES ASSISTANT VACANCY

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a proactive and charismatic retail sales assistant to join our team based in Sidmouth, Devon.

Working within a small and friendly retail team where everyone looks out for each other, you'll get to experience true teamwork. You'll be given the opportunity to build relationships, giving you the confidence to proactively approach every customer and deliver a true retail customer experience.

As retail sales assistant, your main responsibilities will include:

• Ensuring that customer service is not an afterthought but an intrinsic part of the sales process.
• Supporting the management team and the sales process ensuring effective responsibility and ownership of your tasks.
• Driving and delivering sales by cultivating customer relationships.
• Taking responsibility for visual presentation and cleanliness of the store.
• Providing accurate and appropriate advice to our customers so they're confident they're buying the best and relevant products to meet their needs.

In order to be considered for this exciting role, it's essential you have the following:

• A genuine desire to deliver first-class customer service.
• Ability to work well within a busy environment whilst prioritising workload.
• Self-motivation with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work confidently on your own as well as being a strong team player.

Job details:

• Up to 37 hours per week to include weekends.
• Applicants must be able to deal confidently with customers.
• Experience is not essential, as full training will be given.
