In a commitment to sustainability and backing British, British manufacturer ercol has partnered with Grown in Britain (GiB) to re-launch two of its iconic collections. Through the partnership, ercol is now offering the Marino chair and sofa and the Pebble nest of tables and coffee tables manufactured exclusively in British-certified ash.

The Marino collection references the qualities and features of ercol design classics. Its elegance and flowing lines, constructed from steam bent solid ash using traditional craftsmanship and modern furniture making techniques create a striking contemporary and comfortable sofa and chair that reflect ercol's design heritage of chair making.

The fluid curves and tapered legs of the Pebble nest of tables and coffee table, offer a simple and distinctive design, that reflect the heritage of this piece first created in the 1950's

ercol is the first UK furniture maker to work with GiB to make products from homegrown timber at scale quantities. The longevity of the ercol products through their design and quality, enables carbon to be captured and stored across generations. And the partnership will drive direct investment into the British timber industry.

It's a win for sustainability and for quality home furniture.
