Potburys Removals is part of the Potburys of Sidmouth business, which began trading more than 150 years ago. Today, the company encompasses the High Street furniture shop and the Removals Service.
We began in the 1980’s with a kitchen table conversation between the late Brian Cox and Donald Pratt, father and uncle of our CEO David Cox. The family were intrigued about the lack of Irish perfumes and the two entrepreneurs decided to realise a dream – to start an Irish perfume company to create perfumes that reflected the beauty and magic of Ireland. Over 40 years later and into the 3rd generation, our family company is going stronger than ever.
